Fatal error encountered during command execution Errors
A Fatal error encountered during command execution is caused when a command times out.
To increase the command timeout:
- From the Explorer view, expand Data Providers. By default, The following two nodes are listed, Log Database and Archive Log Database.
- Right click on the database you would like to configure, then select Properties. The Data Providers Properties view displays.
- Use the Execution timeout text box to specify the maximum time to wait for SQL statements to complete before timing out.
- Click the Save button to save the settings.
