System Requirements
Supported Operating Systems
- Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016, 2012
- Windows 11, 10
Microsoft .NET 7.0 Runtime
The Server Manager Service and Management Console both require the .NET 7.0 Desktop Runtime while the Agent Installer only requires the .NET 7.0 Runtime . The Server Manager Installers detect if the .NET 7.0 Runtime is already installed. If not, the framework is automatically downloaded from Microsoft then installed. If running on an Air Gapped network, download and install the latest .NET 7.0 before running the installer.
Supported Architectures: 64-Bit and 32-Bit
The Server Manager Service is a .Net 7 application that only installs to 64-Bit Windows machines, however, the Server Manager Agent can be installed on either 64-Bit or 32-Bit Windows machines. Both 64-Bit and 32-Bit Windows machines can also be monitored natively using Windows APIs.
Memory
16 GBs of available memory, 32 GBs suggested for faster performance when consolidating heavily loaded logs such as domain controller Security Event Logs. We have seen many customers successfully run with as little as 8 GBs of memory.

Microsoft SQL Server (Optional)
- SQL Server DBaas
- SQL Server 2022
- SQL Server 2019
- SQL Server 2017

Domain Administrator Account (Optional)
When using the Server Manager Agent to remotely manage machines, no credentials are required, otherwise, to access and manage remote resources, Server Manager requires domain administrator credentials. If off-domain, then local administrator credentials. The first time the application is run, the Onboarding Wizard will prompt you to assign the necessary credentials to the service.
Remote Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) (Optional)
When using the Server Manager Agent to remotely manage machines, Remote Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is not required, otherwise, many functions within Server Manager utilize the Remote WMI API (e.g. Event Log management, CPU, disk space and memory monitoring).
