Corner Bowl Server Manager
SIEM, IPS, Server Monitoring, Uptime Monitoring and Compliance Software
Range Schedules
Range Schedules define a range of available times to execute assigned executables such as Templates and Reports (e.g. every hour at anytime within each hour). Range Schedules support minutes, hourly, daily and weekly.
Example
Consider a Template that has been assigned to 3 websites: www.yourcompany.com, www.CornerBowlSoftware.com and www.OpenServerManager.net. A Range Schedule set to every 15 minutes would result in the following monitor executions:
Monitor | Schedule |
---|---|
www.yourcompany.com | Executes at 0:00, 0:15, 0:30 and 0:45 |
www.CornerBowlSoftware.com | Executes at 0:05, 0:20, 0:35 and 0:50 |
www.OpenServerManager.net | Executes at 0:10, 0:25, 0:40 and 0:55 |
To create a new Range Schedule
- From the Menu Bar select File | New. The Create New Object View displays.
- Select Schedules. The New Schedule view displays.
-
Use the Name text box to specify a unique name or once you have
configured the schedule, click the Auto-Generate Name
button to auto-generate a name based on the configured settings (e.g. Every 4 hours).
- From the Type drop-down select Range.
-
From the Frequency drop-down select one of the following options:
Option Description Minutes Runs every X minutes. Hourly Runs every X hours. Daily Runs every day. Weekly Runs once a week. Unlike Fixed Schedules, seconds and monthly frequencies are not supported. - Use the Day and time exclusions control to assign exclusion periods. For more information on assigning exclusion periods to hosts see: Host Properties.
-
Finally, click Auto-Generate Name
button to auto-generate a name based on the configured schedule settings (e.g. Real-Time Excluding Sunday).
