Template Properties
The Template Properties view enables you to view and modify a Template's settings.
To view or modify a Template
- From the Explorer view, navigate to the Template you want to view or modify.
- Right-click and select Template Properties. The Template Properties View displays.

Each Template contains a unique set of property pages, however, two tabs are always present:
Tab Description General Contains name and schedule properties. Actions Contains action assignment and duplicate trigger properties. Press F1 from any of the other property pages to view help for that property page. - Use the controls to make any necessary changes.
- Click Save to save your changes.
- Click Delete to unassign the Template from all assigned hosts then permanently delete the Template.
To assign Hosts to a Template
From the Assignments View:

Use the Hosts drop-down to assign specific hosts.
Assign Individual Hosts

Use the Host Groups drop-down to assign an entire group, for example Domain Controllers.
Templates are automatically assigned and unassigned from each host when then are assigned and unassigned from groups. Assign a Group of Hosts
