Host Assignments
Templates and Reports can be assigned to a host in several ways:
How to use drag and drop to assign a host to a Template or Report
- From the Explorer View, expand Hosts, locate the target host, click on the node then hold and drag down to a Template under the Templates node or a Report under the Reports node, then drop. The host is assigned to the target Template or Report.
How to view and edit a host's assignments
- From the Explorer View, find the target host then right click and select Host Properties. The Host Properties View displays.

By default, the Assignments View is located on the right side of the screen. There are 5 drop-down lists that enable you to assign the host to Templates and Reports.
Drop-Down Description Host Groups Assign hosts to multiple groups. All assigned Templates and Reports are automatically assigned to each host. Templates Assign hosts to multiple templates. Template Groups Assign host to multiple template groups All assigned Templates are automatically assigned to each host. Reports Assign hosts to multiple reports. Report Groups Assign hosts to multiple report groups. The host is included in all reports assigned to the report group.
