Registration Requirements

The Management Windows Service is the only component that needs to be registered. Neither the Management Console, nor the Agent requires registration.

How to Register the Management Windows Service

The registration process requires access to the Internet. If you are firewalled or air gapped, see How to Register an Air Gapped Installation.

If your organization is using a web proxy, see Web Proxy

  • Open the Management Console, then from the Explorer View, select the root Licensing tree node. The License View displays.
  • From the License View, use the Email textbox to specify the email address that was used to purchase your license.
Note
To add your email account to your organization's license, contact Corner Bowl Support at info@CornerBowlSoftware.com.
  • Use the License key textbox to specify your license key.

  • Use the Node Count textbox to specify the number of nodes you would like to license.
Note

How to Register Air Gapped Installations

  • Specify the number of nodes to register.
  • Finally, click the Generate button.

To install the license key file:

  • Copy the license key file to the following directory: C:\ProgramData\Corner Bowl\Server Manager\Licenses
  • Open the Corner Bowl Management Console.
  • Select Service -> Stop, then Service -> Start.

To verify the license key file:

  • From the Management Console, locate the Explorer View, typically pinned to the left side of the application, then find the License node at the bottom of the view and select. The License View displays.
  • Review your license information for accuracy.
